the garden

A typical Venetian garden

Between alleys, little squares and ancient facades, Venice guards a green heritage often invisible. The private garden of Cinqueteste is one of the rarest examples.

Over a thousand square meters of greenery belong to the house and  follow the Venetian tradition of theenclosed garden: an enclosed garden, protected by walls and conceived as a natural extension of the house.

A courtyard introduces the dwelling; then gravel paths cross the lawn, lead to the true central well and organize the space in harmonious routes, between light and shade.

The pergolas host white and black strawberry grape vines and, in spring, the wisteria blooms at the entrance in a scenic and fragrant presence

Enclosed garden

A centuries‑old tradition

Magnolia, walnuts, persimmons, pomegranates, Judas trees, palms and bananas compose a rich and surprising vegetation.

Exclusive for guests

The walls clad in American ivy protect the garden, where the bagolaro, called “spaccasassi” for the strength of its roots, also stands out.

Low walls, staircases, statues and true wells shape the space, while pergolas and vegetative screens create secluded corners, designed for tranquility.

A garden designed for you: a green refuge where to reconnect and recharge after a day among Venice’s treasures and the liveliness of its alleys.

An exclusive space, reserved for guests, sheltered from the hustle and the crowd.
